CLYDE striker Bradley Coyne has been ruled out for the rest of the campaign and will play no further part in the Bully Wee's promotion bid this term.
The forward was signed by Broadwood boss Jim Duffy from Stirling Albion but has made just four appearances for the club.
Duffy said: "Bradley returned to action this season after a serious knee injury which kept him out for a year. We watched him play for Stirling and we liked the look of him, so we felt it was worth bringing him in on a short-term deal to see if it would work out.
"Unfortunately, he has since suffered problems with scar tissue on his knee and it's going to keep him out until the summer."
There is some good news on the injury front for Duffy, however, with striker Kevin Watt pushing for a return this term as he recovers from ankle injuries.
Clyde face Montrose this afternoon knowing that victory will see them clinch a League Two play-off place if Berwick Rangers fail to beat East Stirlingshire at Shielfield.
