HAMILTON ACCIES star Darian MacKinnon has agreed a new contract with the Premiership club.
The 28-year-old midfielder played a key part in helping Alex Neil's side back to the top flight after turning in a series of superb showings last term on their way to play-off success over Hibernian. He made 40 appearances and netted four goals.
Accies kick off their 2014-15 season today at home to Arbroath in the League Cup. And MacKinnon, who signed from Junior side Clydebank in 2012, has given boss Neil another pre-season boost after committing his future to the Lanarkshire side until May 2016.
