Queen of the South have confirmed the appointment of James Fowler as manager.
The 33-year-old former Kilmarnock midfielder moved to Palmerston in a player-coach role in the summer had been in charge of the Dumfries club on a temporary basis since Jim McIntyre and assistant Billy Dodds left to take over at Ross County earlier this month.
Queens have taken four points from Fowler's three Scottish Championship games in charge and are sitting fourth in the table, eight points behind leaders Hearts.
