ALBION boss Darren Young hopes the feelings of euphoria his side experienced last weekend will inspire them to another big game win tomorrow.

Rovers recorded a crucial League Two triumph against leaders Arbroath last time out as they closed the gap and gave their fourth tier title bid a major boost.

The Coatbridge club make the trip to Airdrie to face second-placed Queen's Park tomorrow aiming to leapfrog the Spiders in the standings.

Victory over Gus MacPherson's side could even take them top of the table if the Red Lichties slip-up at home to Clyde.

Young said: "We could have fallen nine points behind last weekend but we managed to cut the gap to three with a really good performance.

"Queen's are up there with us as well so it is a huge game on Saturday.

"It was a massive boost to beat Arbroath.

"The boys were all delighted with the result, and rightly so.

"There was a great reaction from the players and the fans after it and it was a great feeling.

"We said to them to remember how it feels and to take that forward.

"We need to fight for the full 90 minutes and hopefully we get our rewards at the end of it."

The League Two clash will be the third time this term that Albion and QP have squared up.

Rovers were 1-0 winners in August and booked their place in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup with a 2-1 triumph this month.

Young said: "Queen's are just one place above us so it is a massive game.

"We have managed to get two wins against them already this season so hopefully we can make it a third on Saturday.

"They know us and we know them so it will be who takes their chances and plays on the day."
