STEVIE KIRK has been appointed to the Albion Rovers board following a reshuffle at Cliftonhill.
The Motherwell legend took over as general manager at the Coatbridge outfit back in May this year, and was given responsibility for overseeing stadium redevelopment while working closely with all operations to do with the SPFL League Two club.
He now finds himself on a new-look board along with new vice-president Michael Savage and Terry Gillooly, who will oversee health and safety issues at the ground.
It comes as long-standing director Robert Watt steps down from his role at Rovers after several years of service.
Chairman Pat Gillooly, who has only been in his role for weeks, said: "We are delighted that Michael, Stevie and Terry have agreed to come on the board.
"This is a really exciting time for the club and we have big plans for the future. We are all very forward thinking and our aim is to take this club into a bright new future."
