The draw for the third round of the League Cup sees Motherwell visit Hamilton in the Lanarkshire derby, days before they host Accies in the Premiership.
Scottish Championship leaders Hearts have been handed a trip to Celtic Park while the winners of the second-round clash between Rangers and Inverness (September 16) will travel to Falkirk.
Draw: Dundee v Dundee United, Falkirk v Rangers or Inverness, Ross County v Hibernian, Kilmarnock v St Johnstone, Aberdeen v Livingston, Partick v St Mirren, Celtic v Hearts, Hamilton v Motherwell. Ties to be played on September 23-24.
