LEE MAIR is expected to be fit for Dumbarton's League Cup clash with Hibs tonight despite being substituted in the weekend loss to Rangers.

The Sons stopper was replaced at half-time at Ibrox as Ian Murray's side lost 4-1 to the Light Blues.

Midfielder Chris Turner, who scored a bizarre own goal, is also set to head to Easter Road despite suffering a facial injury on Saturday.

It has been a low-key start to the campaign for Dumbarton, with their weekend defeat coming on the back of losses to Stranraer, Raith Rovers and Queen of the South.

But boss Murray is relishing the challenge facing his side tonight as he gets set to return to his former club.

Murray said: "It's another big game for us and we are all looking forward to going to Hibs.

"Easter Road is a great stage to play football and it'll be great experience for our lads."
