HAMILTON striker Mickael Antoine-Curier insists high-flying Accies don't fear anyone this season - not even champions Celtic.

Alex Neil's side continued their astonishing start to the Premiership campaign with a 4-0 win over Motherwell at Fir Park as they claimed a second Lanarkshire derby victory in the space of three days.

Antoine-Curier netted a 63rd-minute penalty after goals from Tony Andreu and Ali Crawford had put the visitors two up at the break.

Crawford got his second in injury time to put the shine on a polished performance.

Now only Dundee United are above Accies in the top flight standings. Hamilton have now gone seven games unbeaten after losing their opening league match to Inverness.

Next up for them is a trip to Parkhead on Sunday to face Ronny Deila's Hoops side but Antoine-Curier is relishing the challenge.

He said: "Everybody here is confident. The belief is very high in the team and we don't fear anybody. We showed that again at Motherwell.

"It will be a big test for us against Celtic, but that is a good thing. It is not about fancying ourselves. We have to show respect to them."

The French-born forward, who has won 16 caps for Guadeloupe, continued: "Celtic are a massive club.

"When you speak to people in France or the Carribean, they only know Celtic or Rangers. They don't know about Hamilton or any other Scottish teams.

"We will show them respect but when it comes to being on the pitch, that is where there will be a battle. There is no way we will go there to lie down for them.

"The gaffer will work us hard and give us all the tools through the week. But once we cross the white line, we will roll up our sleeves and do the best that we can to win."

After being tipped by many observers for an immediate return to the Championship this season, Hamilton have defied the odds to take the top flight by storm.

The victory at Fir Park was their fifth of the league campaign and was achieved with another superb showing.

After dominating in the first half, they saw off a Motherwell fightback after the break before adding another two goals to their tally.

Antoine-Curier reckons that team spirit is the secret to Hamilton's success.

He said: "Against Well we showed that if there is a spell where we need to battle, then we can roll our sleeves up and battle. When there is a spell to play nice football, we also have a bit of class.

"The performance of the team was magnificent. Each player, from the keeper to the guys who came off the bench, was unbelievable.

"The subs support the ones playing. We are a unit. That is why we are doing so well."
