DUMBARTON have been boosted by the return of midfielder maestro Hugh Murray ahead of their Scottish Cup clash with Cowdenbeath this afternoon.
The on-loan Partick Thistle star has not featured for the Sons since picking up a ankle injury in the league fixture against Queen of the South last month.
The former St Mirren player is now fit for the third round tie at the Bet Butler Stadium as Ian Murray's side look to overcome their SPFL Championship rivals.
Boss Murray, who is able to take his place in the dugout once again against the Blue Brazil after serving a three-match touchline ban, will be without defender Scott Smith and midfielder Chris Turner, however.
Smith is still sidelined through an ankle injury while Turner has to serve a suspension after being sent off in the fourth round defeat to Hamilton Accies last season.
