IAN MURRAY is trying to offload some of his fringe players as he looks to tinker with his squad at Dumbarton.
This week the Sons manager agreed a deal to sign Kieran MacDonald on loan from Hamilton. The left-back will switch to the Rock till January.
Murray completed the majority of his transfer dealings early in the summer as the likes of David van Zanten and Lee Mair were brought to the club.
The Sons are bottom of the Championship after a frustrating start to the season, with losses to Raith Rovers, Queen of the South and Rangers.
The visit of Livingston tomorrow gives them a chance to finally get their points tally off the mark this term and Murray is expecting more action in the transfer market.
"Kieran has come in to give us options on the left side," he said. "I'm looking to freshen things up a bit and a few players from the squad will be given the option of going on loan to other clubs."
