IAN MURRAY is pleased to see Dumbarton's performances are being rewarded with points at last this term.
The Sons started their Championship campaign with three consecutive defeats as they lost to Raith Rovers, Queen of the South and Rangers.
But they are now unbeaten in their last four after triumphs over Livingston and Alloa and draws with leaders Hearts and Falkirk.
Dumbarton are four points clear of bottom of the table Cowdenbeath ahead of their clash with the Blue Brazil this weekend and Murray is satisfied to see his side moving in the right direction after they climbed to fifth in the standings.
"Anyone who can work out this league is a genius," he said.
"We got off to a poor start to the season, but after our 3-2 defeat to Hibs in the League Cup I wasn't too unhappy because we were playing well. That has started to pay off."
