DUMBARTON kept their Championship play-off dreams alive with a 2-1 win over Livingston on Saturday.

Goals from Chris Turner and Chris Kane saw the Sons come from behind to see off one of their top four rivals.

Boss Ian Murray said: "We had to win the game to have a realistic chance of making the top four and I am delighted with the way we dominated the second half." Despite moving level on points with the Lions, it was to prove a mixed afternoon for boss Murray after he was sent to the stand at half-time following a row with whistler Greg Aitken.

The Sons gaffer said: "I'm pretty sure his report will be wrong, what he thinks I have said.

"If it is for foul and abusive language, then come on.

"I am 33 he is probably 40 and it is football - we are not in church."
