DUMBARTON have clinched a deal to sign St Johnstone kid Dylan Easton on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 20-year-old completed a stint with League Two leaders Arbroath yesterday and boss Ian Murray has now made his move to bring the midfielder to the Bet Butler Stadium.
Easton will hope to follow in the footsteps of striker Chris Kane, who was a huge hit on loan at the Rock and is now part of Tommy Wright's first team setup in Perth.
He could make his debut in the Championship clash with Livingston on Saturday as the Sons look to get back on track following last weekend's defeat to Raith Rovers.
Murray said: "I was disappointed not to take something from the game. Our second half performance was encouraging.
"We were a wee bit sloppy in the first period and we'll be looking to tighten up on certain things ahead of the Livingston game on Saturday."
