DARREN YOUNG insists Albion Rovers won't get carried away by their flying start to the campaign as the League Two leaders get set to face Berwick Rangers this afternoon.

The Cliftonhill side have been in fine form so far this term as they have racked up three consecutive wins without conceding a goal in recent weeks.

Rovers moved above Arbroath into pole position in the title race last weekend but Young is eager to keep his feet on the ground ahead of their trip south of the border to Shielfield.

The manager said: "It is much better to be at the top of the table than the other end but we're not getting carried away.

"We will have a wee celebration if we are four points ahead after the 35th game. But until we get to that point, we will work hard and take it a game at a time.

"We have a few experienced guys in the squad who have been there and done it in terms of moving up the divisions. We will keep our feet on the ground.

"We have to try to keep going and keep playing the way we have so far this season.

"We want to continue with the good habits we have picked up and maintain our workrate and sharpness going into the games."

Elsewhere in League Two, Clyde will face Arbroath at Broadwood as they look to halt a poor recent run that has seen them sink to near the bottom of the table.

And Queen's Park will head to East Fife aiming to move into the fourth tier's play-off positions.
