Andrew Ellis has come from virtual anonymity to be the man everyone connected with Rangers wants to know about.
While he continues to move behind the scenes, as revealed in this paper on Saturday, through his vehicle company RFC Holdings to acquire ownership of the Ibrox club, the public at large await his first state-ments on exactly what his plans are for the SPL champions.
Ellis is about to be transformed into a world that is alien to anything he has dealt with; this is Rangers, not the Queens Park version, the team he tried to buy nine years ago.
He would be well served to treat the Rangers support with the respect they deserve and say something soon.
