Kris Boyd made his comeback for Scotland this week – and instantly showed he is a far better player than he was when he quit the national set-up.
The Rangers striker should have none of the problems getting picked under new boss Craig Levein that he did when George Burley was in charge.
Kris came on for Kenny Miller in the second half of the 1-0 friendly win over the Czech Republic at Hampden on Wednesday night and led the line himself.
Could you honestly see him being able to do that a couple of years ago, before he declared himself unavailable for selection? I don’t think so.
