Tomorrow night we face Connacht at the Galway Sports Ground in what is probably the most important Magners League game we will play while the RBS Six Nations championship is taking place.
We are once again depleted in terms of our regular starting players because of Scotland requirements, but I have been trying all week to get a ‘no excuses’ mentality going within the camp.
A fortnight back against Cardiff Blues, we did not front-up and, especially up front, we were hammered and that can’t be allowed to happen again.
What I am demanding is a win-at-all-costs mentality full of grit, blood and thunder, but one in which discipline is a key fundamental and in which we stick to the game plan.
