John Hartson is ready to take the field at Celtic Park for John Kennedy's tribute match.
The former Parkhead hitman has agreed to take part in the game as the 2003 Uefa Cup Final side team up to face the current line-up for the charity fixture on May 22.
Hartson has battled back to health after being at death's door two years ago when he was struck down by cancer.
But he is honoured at taking part in the game for Kennedy, who retired in 2009 after spending five years trying to fight back from a knee injury.
Hartson said: "It's a great thing that Celtic are giving him a benefit match.
"I remember when it happened, I was playing for Celtic at the time. John was just coming through and making his debut for Scotland so we were all really excited for him.
"He worked like no-one ever before but unfortunately he couldn't get the knee back as strong as it was.
"I won't play a big part in the game but I might kick-off and then come off."
