Strauss won't panic over loss

England cricket captain Andrew Strauss said there would be no knee-jerk reaction to the 3-0 series defeat by Pakistan that has seen his team's lead at the top of the Test rankings slashed to one point.

Strauss, whose side slipped to a 71-run defeat in the third and final Test in Dubai, said: "We haven't been in the business of making panic changes."

PRESSURE of work has forced Willie Limond, the former Commonwealth lightweight champion from Glasgow, to shelve plans to make his comeback on the undercard of Lee McAllister's European title bout in Aberdeen on February 25.
