ALLAN MOORE saw Morton collect their first league win of the season as they eased to victory over Dumbarton – but the Ton gaffer admits it should have been far more convincing as they spurned a host of chances.
Morton finally got their maiden win on the board as Archie Campbell netted the first hat-trick of his career.
However, Moore said: "It is a great win and I don't want to put too much of a dampener on it, but I was disappointed we didn't score more goals. We missed chances galore and without being too harsh on the boys, we had 10 chances and only scored three."
Defeat for Dumbarton leaves them rooted to the foot of the irn-Bru First Division after four successive league losses.
It has left Sons boss Alan Adamson concerned, and he admits his side must be more clinical.
He said: "Our boys need to learn to take their chances when we get them."
