HAMILTON boss Billy Reid is targeting striking reinforcements before the end of the January transfer window.
The Accies gaffer has already snapped up forward Jon McShane from St Mirren this month but, after Dougie Imrie headed in the other direction to join Danny Lennon’s side, he is keen to add to his attacking options in the coming days, writes Chris Jack.
The Lanarkshire side are in the midst of an encouraging run of form that has seen them climb the Irn Bru First Division in recent weeks and head into tomorrow’s clash with Raith Rovers with fourth place in their sights.
Reid has just four days remaining in which to do business but is hopeful of strengthening his squad for the second half of the campaign.
He said: “We will maybe add one, maybe two at a push, in the top area of the park. That is the area of the team we are looking to strengthen.
“We will not be throwing money about. It is about us picking up something that is viable to us in terms of finance and fits into what we are trying to do.”
