TODD LUMSDEN admits Albion Rovers only have themselves to blame as they suffered a third straight league defeat.
The Coatbridge side are bottom of the Irn-Bru Second Division after a frustrating start to life in the Cliftonhill hotseat for Lumsden, with a 1-0 loss to title favourites Queen of the South their latest afternoon of heartache.
Derek Lyle netted the only goal of the game for the Doonhamers, but Albion had their chances, with Jason Crooks seeing his spot-kick saved by keeper Lee Robinson after Kieran Brannan was fouled inside the area.
Jamie Gilmartin saw red for a lunge on Queens' Ryan McGuffie, but Lumsden reckons his side deserved a point.
He said: "I felt we played some good football, even when we went down to 10 men. The boys were gutted afterwards. But we had a chance with the penalty and didn't take it.
"If we had taken a point from the game then I think it would have been well deserved."
