GLASGOW golfer Marc Warren was toasting his success at the US PGA Championship this morning after finishing with a share of 12th place.
The 32-year-old came in just one shot behind Rory McIlroy as best-placed British player as Jason Dufner claimed the Major by two shots.
"I'm very delighted," he said. "I didn't play great on Thursday but to finish in a major, especially the PGA, with three rounds in the 60s is very pleasing."
Dufner added: "I come across as a pretty cool customer I guess, but there are definitely some nerves out there when you are trying to win a major championship.
"It probably has not sunk in. I can't believe this is happening to me.
"To come back from a couple of years ago when I lost in a play-off feels really, really good."
