YOUNG asylum seekers from Glasgow have made a film about the obstacles they face on leaving school.
It shows how the teenagers cope with Home Office restrictions on full-time studies and work.
Doniya Kenneth, of Sighthill, was among those who made the film, called Transitions, which was launched at the Trades Hall.
The 19-year-old, originally from Pakistan, said: "I wanted to go to university.
"Asylum seekers are treated as overseas students, which means we have to pay fees of about £10,000. But I am lucky because I got a scholarship."
