A FITNESS instructor is bringing the exercise regime practised by Scots tennis star Andy Murray to Glasgow.
Lisa Miller, 27, says Bikram Yoga could improve fitness levels for people across the city.
It has already helped Murray improve his game so much that he recently beat world No 1 Roger Federer.
Murray, the UK's No 1, took up Bikram Yoga - which sees 26 yoga poses being done in a room heated to 105F (40C) and 40% humidity - last year.
He says it helps him get used to the heat of the warmer climes where he competes, as well as improving flexibility and reducing the risk of injury.
He was even seen practising some yoga moves on-court at the Australian Open in Melbourne.
Madonna and actors George Clooney and Daniel Craig are also fans and there are classes in 600 places worldwide.
Now Lisa, from Cumbernauld, is starting them on the South Side of Glasgow.
She said: "It doesn't matter how old or young you are, or whether you have health concerns or illnesses, you would certainly get benefits from it.
"It's a physical form of meditation and you feel the benefits immediately. It has completely changed my outlook on life.
"You can't explain it until you do it - that's also what Andy Murray said.
"It gives you that can do' attitude and makes you more energetic and vibrant."
Andy, who was this week beaten in the semi-finals of the US Pacific Life Open, said: "Bikram Yoga has been great in helping me get fit and preparing for the on-court heat."
Lisa trained as a Bikram Yoga teacher on the official course in Los Angeles and then taught in Queensland, Australia, before returning to Scotland.
She discovered the form of yoga, founded by Bikram Choudhury from India, while working as a personal trainer in Jersey.
Now based in Los Angeles, Mr Choudhury claims people who do the form of yoga every day only need four hours' sleep and live an extra 15 years.
Lisa's classes will be at the Sano Spa, Clarkston, just outside Glasgow.
