LARRY LEVAN, resident at New York's legendary Paradise Garage, is a name that will be forever enshrined in house history.
As the downtown Manhattan club grew into a phenomenon, Larry became one of the most famous DJs in the city.
The Garage's members-only policy meant seeing his sets became a privilege, with non-members offering the lucky ones astronomical sums to get them in.
This tribute is as close as you or I will get to experiencing the Garage's unique atmosphere. It features Funktifeyeno & Piacentini spinning the top 100 records from The Paradise Garage as featured in Bill Brewster and Frank Broughton's book Last Night A DJ Saved My Life, as well as other Levan productions.
