Famtasylands Music Festival is back for 2010 after a break last year and this time they’re moving from Edinburgh to Glasgow.
The theme is Valentines, so make sure you show your love at Braehead on Saturday, February 13.
The arena hosts are some of the hottest brands around – BTTF, GBXperience, Masters of Hardcore, Kiddfectious and Wigan Pier meets United Nations of Dance. The main arena will be hosted by BTTF meets GBXperience, with Big Room Tunes & Dance Anthems the soundtrack.
Headlining the arena is Sash!, the man behind some of the biggest hits of the 1990s such as Encore Une Fois and Mysterious Times. Kelly Llorenna from N-Trance will perform No1 hit Set You Free, a sure fire sing-a-long moment. Ultrabeat will also be performing all their hits live and new Scottish kid on the block Bandito will also be live on stage.
DJs include Holland’s biggest hardstyle DJs Noise Controllers, who will make their Scottish debut, plus Evil Activities, the man behind the huge hardcore remix of Coldplay’s The Scientist. The main arena will be broadcast LIVE on Clyde 1 FM on GBXperience host George Bowie’s show.
Arena 2 will be hosted by the leaders in the hardcore scene, Masters Of Hardcore. In 2009 MOH hosted an arena at Fantazia Valentines Spectacular and a stand-alone event at The O2 Academy in May.
For Fantasylands Valentines Music Festival they will arrive complete with full MOH décor and, of course, bring with them their finest artists from the brand. Angerfist will perform their amazing live show and there will sets from Outblast, Radio 1’s Kutski, Re-Style, Nitrogenetics, Amnesys and Obsession.
Arena 3 brings back the brand that was a huge hit at last February’s Fantazia, Kiddfectious. Alex Kidd has been on the scene for years, consistently ranked high in the hard dance DJ polls, and is one of the most energetic men in the industry.
It’s with this enthusiasm that he created the label and now the clubbing brand. Hard dance and hardstyle wizard Kidd’s brand is one of the UK’s leading authorities in dance music. Kiddfectious at Fantasylands will see Tatanka headline the arena, making his Scottish debut.
Kidd gets behind the decks with other DJs including Crypsis, Max Enforcer, Cally & Juice, Mark EG, Driller Killerz, Force 9, Kidd Kaos, The Yofridiz and Argy. Arena 4 will see the introduction of a new host for 2010 as Wigan Pier Meets United Nations Of Dance bring their Scouse house & bounce to the Festival. Both brands are huge in their field as Wigan Pier was the original bounce night and United Nations of Dance packs out Glasgow club The Tunnel every week. For this arena the line-up is bounce-tastic with Ben T, Mikey B, Ian Redman, Steve Cocky, Marc Anderson and many more.
