With four individual arenas each offering something different for clubbing fans across the country, this looks set to be the best Parklife yet.
The main Inside Out arena plays host to Radio 1’s crowd favourite Judge Jules as well as DJ Mag and Gareth Emery, alongside some of the biggest names in the Trance scene.
The brand new Hardlife arena caters for those who like their dance music that little bit tougher. it will be headlined by the massive Technoboy alongside Radio 1’s Kutski as well as crowd favourites Alex Kidd and Frontliner.
Stereofunk are back by popular demand, with the outdoor stage featuring some of Scotland’s most popular House DJs including Stevie Lennon, Craig Kelman and more.
The final tent at this year’s Parklife is the Nu Talent area.
This unique tent will be showcasing some of the best new DJs and artists currently taking the Scottish clubscene by storm.
Take these four arenas, add a state-of-the-art sound, light and visuals production, a fully licensed bar area, merchandise stalls and 5000+ up for it clubbers and you’ve got the recipe for a great day out.

Rising Staar
It has been a very active year for Killer Kitsch. They celebrated their fifth birthday and hosted DJ sets from Nadastrom, Yolanda Be Cool and Grum, and they’re showing no signs of slowing down.
Next Tuesday they have rising star Tom Staar dropping in for a night behind the decks.
It’s really only been in the last year that Tom has emerged as an artist in his own right.
Away from the studio Tom also runs the excellent Moda Music records label (with Radio 1’s Jaymo & Andy George). He’s also been collaborating with Herve and Sinden on a few things which are due to see the light of day later this year.
Warming up the decks for Tom will be the KK residents in the form of Euan Neilson & David Sinclair.
After having some excellent local talent help out with past guests, for this one the guys will go it alone.
As per usual the other floors of the club remain the same as ‘normal’ Killer Kitsch club nights. So get down to Killer Kitsch to see Tom Staar and the KK crew in full effect.
- Killer Kitsch @ The Buff Club, Tuesday September 7, 11pm-3am.
Todd
Melting Pot finally get their man this Saturday! The disco re-edit and remixing machine that is Todd Terje has been on our radar for years now, but dates have never worked out ... until now!
What better time to get him than just after the release of his Remaster of the Universe compilation on the prolific Permanent Vacation label. Drawing together his biggest remixes over a double CD release, it includes the massive dancefloor reworkings of Lindstrom, Sh*t Robot, Dolle Jolle and Studio amongst a host of others.
After hooking up with Prins Thomas and Lindstrom in Olso around 10 years ago, the Norwegian Balearic Disco invasion began.
Re-editing a whole host of artist from the likes of Paul Simon, Michael Jackson to Chic on the Supreme edits series, Terje captured the imagination of a whole generation of disco hunters who’d been brought up on the dubby disco sounds of The Idjuts, DJ Harvey, and the like.
Next up were some original productions with Eurodans on Prins Thomas’ Full Pupp causing some serious damage!
Remix requests started coming in. Terje transfused the concept of his edits onto his remixes and created a totally new sound cosmos for every track.
In most cases they didn’t have much to do with the original tracks. Only a few fragments from the original were necessary to slice and juice up with his own ingredients, usually resulting in sure-shot dancefloor material.
Not many remixers puts this much love into their tracks, and this makes every remix coming from Terje’s end of the table sound like Billboard Top 20 material!
When he’s not holed up in his studio he’s to be found DJing across the world on a weekly basis – showing us that’s he’s not just a producer, but a rather fantastic DJ to boot. Terje is going to kick start the autumn session of MP in fine style!
- Melting Pot @ The Admiral, Saturday. £10 on the door. Pre-club at The Admiral, 9-11pm, with Melting Pot DJs. Limited number of £5 passes available from the bar.
