David Harewood is the latest name to be linked to the lead role in Doctor Who after bookies noted a surge in bets for the Homeland star.
William Hill is giving odds of 16/1 for the 47-year-old to take over from Matt Smith and become the first black Doctor.
Also being tipped is Green Wing star Julian Rhind-Tutt.
