The 31-year old came under fire after she admitted miming the words to the Star Spangled Banner at President Barack Obama’s inauguration ceremony.

She said she was anxious about the Super Bowl show and added: “I will absolutely be singing live. I am well rehearsed and I will be singing live.. this is what I was born to do.”

Of her appearance at the inauguration, she said: “Well I am a perfectionist and one thing about me is I’ve practiced till my feet bleed.

“And I did not have time to practice with the orchestra.”
