Runaway cow shuts motorway

A cow caused rush hour traffic chaos when it strayed on to a busy motorway.

  • The cow has caused long tailbacks on the M8

The animal disrupted traffic on the M8, near the St James Interchange at Paisley.

It led to long tailbacks on the westbound carriageway between the junction and Greenock.

Police and RSPCA officials were called to the scene.

The cow has now been caught.
