Wicked tickets expected to create sales frenzy

The Scottish premiere of Wicked goes on public sale Friday March 8 at 8am.

The King’s Theatre is gearing up for what they expect will be an extraordinary morning when tickets for the globally phenomenal musical Wicked go on sale.

A spokesman for the theatre said: "We are anticipating quite a buzz around tickets going on sale at the Box Office on Friday morning, considering what's been happening around the country so far.

"Additional box office terminals are being set up, extra staff have been recruited and the theatre will open two hours earlier than normal."

The first 100 customers will receive a CD of the Wicked soundtrack, and a cake.

The Scottish premiere of Wicked is for a limited 4 week run from May 6 – 31 2014
