Jags fixture backlog worsens as match postponed

PARTICK THISTLE’S Irn-Bru First Division clash at Cowdenbeath tomorrow night has been postponed.

The Firhill side – two points behind leaders Morton with two games in hand – had already faced a fixture backlog after a number of cancellations.

Interim-manager Alan Archibald had been hoping to make it six victories in a row, which would have taken his side back to the top of the table.

The game is likely to be re-arranged for Wednesday, March 27, with Jags also down to go to Cowdenbeath again three days later.
