A CHILDREN'S cancer charity is appealing for help in setting up a 5K fun run - in pyjamas.

The PJ 5K is a sponsored five-kilometre walk, run or toddle in pyjamas to raise cash for the CLIC Sargent charity.

It will be held during National Yummy Mummy Week on September 15-24.

The charity is searching for a volunteer in Glasgow able to give four hours a week to help arrange the event.

Emma Bashford, events fundraising manager, said: "The person should be really enthusiastic, IT-literate and have good written and verbal skills.

"They will play a key role in co-ordinating the PJ 5K."
