MACIEJ ZURAWSKI'S move to the USA hinges on whether or not Celtic can agree a fee with MLS side Columbus Crew.

The Parkhead side are holding out for around £300,000 for the Polish striker and so far a deal hasn't been struck.

Zurawski has fallen off the radar at Parkhead and is behind Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Scott McDonald and Chris Killen in the pecking order. The arrival of Greek Georgios Samaras has surley pushed the Polish ace even further down the striker roster.

Zurawski is keen to get out of the club and kickstart his career in order to force his way back into the Polish national side.

"I would say it (the transfer fee is) a sticking point," Columbus general manager Mark McCullers said today.

"We've got to have an agreement in place with Celtic before we can move on to the next step.

"I've still got to talk to the league and get back with the agent and see where we are.

"I'm not as optimistic as I was three days ago.

"I just really want to manage expectations here because we've been down this path before and things have not worked out for us. I also want to reiterate that we have more options."
