A woman has been arrested following a spate of alleged high-value shopliftings in East Kilbride.
Police say community officers arrested a 53-year-old following seven thefts in the town on Wednesday, April 17.
Cops also say all property from the shopliftings has been recovered.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "On Wednesday, April 17, community officers in East Kilbride Town Centre arrested a 53-year-old female for seven high-value shopliftings, all property was recovered.
"Great work detecting a highly impactive crime.
"We will continue to protect property and assist our local businesses."
