The driver of a car that overturned in Maidenhead was lucky to escape without injury following a horror crash on Thursday evening.
Thames Valley Police have warned drivers to take care when travelling in wintery conditions after they were called to the incident on Marlow Road.
The driver was lucky to avoid serious injury when the car they were driving overturned on Marlow Road on Thursday evening. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
An off-duty police officer was one of the first on the scene and administered first aid to the driver. An ambulance was called to the scene, but no one was taken to hospital.
A Thames Valley Police representative took to Twitter to issue a warning to drivers:
“Please drive to the conditions and do not allow yourself to become distracted – it only takes a split second and it’s game over.”
