TWO champions have been appointed by the Scottish Council for Development and Industry to boost engineering in Glasgow.
David Aitken, a former principal teacher of craft, design and technology and Luisa Greig, a graduate employee at defence technology firm SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems, are to be the first regional co-ordinators for its network of Young Engineers Clubs.
The network includes five primary schools, 13 high schools and two colleges.
