GAME of Thrones fans queued for as much as three hours on Monday to sit on one of TV's most iconic chairs.
Ahead of the beginning of the series' final season next week, enthusiasts headed to Braehead to sit on a replica of the Iron Throne.
Around 500 diehard fans waited in line, hoping to unseat Cersei Lannister and get a photograph taken on the throne.

People had travelled from as far afield as Lockerbie for a 30 second opportunity to sit where Robert Baratheon, Aegon the Conqueror, and even The Mad King had before them.
The stunt was part of a tour by Sky Atlantic which is travelling across the UK ahead of season 8's premiere on the channel on Monday, April 15.
