Scottish singing sensation Lewis Capaldi stunned fans in Glasgow today during three back-to-back “intimate” shows at SWG3.

Launching his debut album, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, Lewis played new music as well as crowd favourites, Your Grace and Someone You Loved.

Addressing the crowd the 22-year-old said: “It feels like from the start of this year things have really kicked up a touch.

"I played two nights at the Barrowlands earlier this year and I thought that was huge.

"Two days ago I just announced a UK arena tour for next year, I couldn't do any of this without you all, so thank you."

Known for his cheeky personality and online humour Lewis had the crowd in stitches, as well as singing along to every song.

"He's funny as, I think you can see it's his personality that shines through, it's Scottish humour, really self-depricating. He's not putting an act on," said Max, who had travelled down from the north of Scotland to see Lewis play.

"This is actually my first concert, it was really good. I'd only really heard that one song before, but he's really got an amazing voice," he said.

Lewis also met with fans after the show to sign copies of his album which were on sale at the show in the form of CDs, vinyls and cassettes.

In his hilariously brash style Lewis said: "After this I will meet as many of you as possible, but we have to be as quick as we can.

"None of this, 'can we take a picture on my phone too?'

"No! Send them the f**king picture, we're living in 2019!"

Twenty three year old fan, Hazel, said: "He's just really genuinely, naturally funny, I don't think he even means to be."

Fans Charlie and Chloe said: “The show had a personal touch, considering he’s from Glasgow, it was very intimate.

“We’ve followed him for about three-and-a half-years so it’s great to finally see him live and doing so well.”

Saoirse, who had travelled from Edinburgh to see Lewis said: "I hope he keeps his success, I hope it's an ongoing thing for him.

"It's so easy to blow up over one song and collapse but I hope he keeps it. He's got a phenomenal voice."

Lewis’ new album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent is out on May 17.
