MARINA, O2 Academy Glasgow, tonight from 7pm 

Multi-platinum-selling superstar MARINA is returning to Glasgow as part of her LOVE+FEAR tour. The tour celebrates her fourth album of the same name, released on April 26. 

The dynamic pop star is most known by the stage name Marina and the Diamonds, but after a three-year hiatus she returns under the moniker of MARINA. Her combination of new wave and electropop has earned all three of her previous albums top-ten positions in the UK charts.

William Tyler, The Hug and Pint, tonight from 7.30pm.

Tennessee native William Tyler will fill the small venue of Hug & Pint with sounds of indie folk tonight.

Starting his musical career as part of US groups Lambchop and Silver Jews in 1998, he gained acclaim for his exceptional guitar work in his solo ventures. 

His performance at the Hug & Pint is a part of his EU and UK tour after the January release of his fourth album Goes West. 

Tyler’s act will be supported by the Phantom Band’s guitarist Duncan Marquiss. The Scottish indie band is well-established, often performing in Glasgow venues.

Faust from the Royal Opera, Everyman Cinema, Princes Square, tonight, 6.30pm

THE Everyman Cinema in Glasgow’s Princes Square is showing a live screening of Faust from the Royal Opera House Live.

Experience Gounod’s most popular opera through a live screening of the Royal Opera House performance tonight at 6.30pm. Based on the epic poem Faust by the German writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, the opera follows the story of philosopher Faust and his deal with the devil Méphistophélès.
