It's a happy birthday to Duke Street's Tibo Bistro!

Sitting amongst other small Duke Street businesses, old and new, Tibo proudly boasts its status as one of the longest serving eateries in the east end.

The restaurant has been around for over a decade, but this year marks its 10th anniversary under the current ownership of Angus MacLeod and Usman Shaikh.

Glasgow Times:

And to celebrate the right way, Tibo are hosting their 10th birthday party to celebrate a decade of fine Scottish cuisine in the east end - and you are invited.

For just £10 you can enjoy a delicious buffet prepared by David and his team with a complimentary drink of your choice.

Throughout the evening, there will be an impressive line up of Glasgow-based musical artists to keep you entertained as well as a raffle with top prizes to be won.

Ticket and raffle proceeds will be going to SAMs club charity, who work with special needs children and their families, offering professional care and entertainment for the children and respite for their families in the east end of Glasgow.

In 2009, Angus and Usman took over Tibo from David Skilling and Malcolm MacKenzie, who had created a chilled-out bohemian-style café and deli with comfy seating and hipster decor for their artsy east end clientele.

Glasgow Times:

10 years later and Tibo is thriving, with people flocking from all over the city for the iconic brunch menu featuring artisan coffee by Myrtle, Freedom Bakery bread, Stornoway black pudding, Loch Fyne smoked salmon and a huge range of vegan delicacies designed by head chef, David MacLeod.
