DO YOU remember seeing Stevie, Smokey and Martha in Glasgow in 1965?

Can you recall being at the Odeon Cinema in 1965, watching Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Smokey Robinson and a 15-year-old Stevie Wonder perform?

If you can, and you’re willing to share your memories of that night before the stars became household names, you could be part of a special VIP experience.

The smash-hit West End musical Motown the Musical is roaring into the King’s Theatre, Glasgow this month.

And Evening Times readers are being offered the chance to win a VIP Motown experience in Glasgow including tickets for the show’s press night on Wednesday 30 October, meal and overnight hotel stay.

A King’s Theatre spokesperson said: “If you were a part of that incredible performance or have pictures and anecdotes from family members who were there, we want to hear from you.”

Motown the Musical tells the story of Berry Gordy’s world-famous Motown record label

It stars Edward Baruwa as Berry Gordy, Karis Anderson as Diana Ross, Nathan Lewis as Smokey Robinson and Shak Gabbidon-Williams as Marvin Gaye.

The hits performed include Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Stop! In The Name of Love, My Girl and I Heard It Through the Grapevine.
