Dr. Hook have announced that they will return to Glasgow next year for a pair of summer shows at the iconic Kelvingrove Bandstand.

The announcement marks the first scheduled live shows since the band were forced to cancel a run of sold out dates as part of an extensive 50th anniversary world tour earlier this year.

In a video message to the band’s loyal Scottish fans, lead singer Dennis Locorriere said he was delighted to return to the city for the dates on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June.

He added: “It's been quite a strange year for me folks. I was so gutted that the band and I had to cancel so many shows.”

“I was particularly heartbroken about not coming to see all my friends in Glasgow at Kelvingrove in June. We have such a great time there, you guys are wonderful."

“But the good news is that in 2020, on June 20 and June 21 we will be back for two shows! The band is geared up and ready to go and we'll see you there!”

Tickets for both shows go on sale on Monday, November 4 at 9am and are available here.
