A MUSICAL voyage through the life and works of one of the greatest Romantic composers will be depart from Rhyl this month.
Pianist Alicja Fiderkiewicz and narrator Denis Lavin will offer a musical dialogue on the Polish virtuoso Fryderyk Chopin in The Exquisite Heart and Mind at Rhyl Town Hall.
Rhyl Music Club is welcoming the pair to the town 170 years after the peerless composer's untimeley death - aged just 39 - death as part of its 2019-20 International Concert Series
Stephen Leeder, concert organiser, said: "Alicja now lives in Northern England but she was born in Poland and so is an obvious choice for this event. She studied in Warsaw, Moscow and Manchester.
"While in Moscow she played for Nikolayeva, Gilels and Richter! Alicja has been involved in Chopin dramas with other actors so we shall have to see what she makes of our version.
"Denis is a club member who has produced many plays of all types and has written the script specially for this event."
To revel in this novel exploration of Chopin's poetic and prolific genius, head to the Town Hall on Wednesday, November 27 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are priced are priced at £15 available on the door or from rhylmusic.com.
