THE production company responsible for creating Glasgow's first reality show will launch two other new series this year.

GRTV, which was created to deliver Glow, the city's answer to The Only Way is Essex, are currently working on at least two other shows.

Production company GRTV confirmed that the first show will be out in the summer, with a second expected either at the end of this year or the start of next.

GRTV would not reveal details of the new series but the production firm have always maintained that their position is to show Glasgow in a positive light.

The delivery of the new shows is likely to be via a dedicated website and app which has already proven to be successful for the production company's first hit Glow.

Glow, however, has already had interest from networks after the concept was originally rejected by the BBC and STV.

Season two of Glow will begin filming this month on February 26.

The audition process to cast new stars is underway.

GRTV previously told The Evening Times they have received over 800 applicants who have expressed their interest in appearing in season two of Glow.

The show is expected to air in March with original cast members including Rangers star Maurice Edu's former flame Lauren McDonald and city nightclub owner Brian Matthews expected to return.
