A Glasgow café has, this week, become one of the first in the country to start serving the UK’s strongest-ever coffee.
The team at Cafe Unique in Ryze Glasgow Ultimate Trampoline Park have been buzzing all week while dishing out steaming hot cups of Sons of Amazon - which comes with its own warning label.

Created by two Glasgow coffee connoisseurs - Eric Witham and Marco Giambastani - the coffee is an eye-watering 200 per cent stronger than a cup of everyday instant jar coffee.
Creators have warned coffee fiends that the drink is “not for the faint-hearted.”

Speaking with the Evening Times, café owner Lee Sichi said: “Given we are the café based in Ryze, the parents and customers who have tried it love it and often joke about how they’ll end up ‘bouncing’ also.
“Customers seem to love it, especially at weekends when they’re in with their kids early in the morning using the trampolines and need a pick-me-up in the cafe while they wait.

“It’s gone down a storm since we started stocking it and often joke with parents if they want to end up ‘bouncing’ also.
“It definitely goes great with the theme of the park.”
Ryze Glasgow can be found in Portman Street, and Cafe Unique located on the upper level.
