For those heading stateside
The land of the free and the home of the brave. Jetting off to the good old U.S. of A is becoming more and more popular as its becomes easier (and cheaper) to get there. Being able to go through customer pre-clearance in Dublin flying over with Aer Lingus* is cheap when you book ahead and with deals for young travellers from STA Travel, you can don the stars and stripes in 2019 for a steal if you plan it now.
For when you just want the beach
Just imagine it. Your phone is off (or at least set to silent), there's the gentle sound of waves lapping up on the shore, you have a good book you're ready to rip in to, and you've just managed to save a bucket and spade's full of money on a beach holiday. If you really want to relax in 2019, get yourself over to Tui* and look at some of the lush destinations you can fly to directly from airports all over the country.
