The five star Blythswood Square Hotel is situated in a stunning Georgian terrace and radiates luxury from the moment you step through its doors. With its opulent décor and first class service, it’s easy to see why the hotel has been the residence of choice with celebrity guests such as Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Usher and Ariana Grande during they stay in Glasgow.

The superior king room is beautifully styled, spacious and looks out onto the Blythswood Square gardens. The luxurious all marble bathroom has a deep bath, rainfall shower and is stocked with Elemis toiletries. Some hotels are merely a place to put your head down for the night, this is definitely a room you want to stay in and enjoy.

Glasgow Times:

There really is no need to leave the hotel in search of food as the hotel's restaurant and bar boast an excellent menu, gantry and cocktail list. During my stay, I enjoyed the Goats cheese mouse and beetroot starter followed by the seared lamp rump, both of which were delicious.

Glasgow Times:

The breakfast menu was a real treat, with a wide choice of a breakfast buffet including fresh smoothies, fruit, pastries, pancakes, fish and continental choices. You can also order from their extensive menu including eggs benedict and full Scottish breakfast. The bloody mary and bucks fizz station (included with breakfast) is a real bonus, especially if you need a hair of the dog.

Glasgow Times:

The luxury spa covers 10,000 square feet has nine treatment rooms, a thermal suite, two relaxation pools and areas to relax in.  Along with the dimly lit and dark decor of the spa, there is the subtle smell of essential oils in the air adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and will look after your every need. Special mention to Cameron in the spa lounge for his witty charm and excellent customer service.

Glasgow Times:

I enjoyed an isgha facial and back neck and shoulder massage from Elaine. My skin felt amazing and the massage was one of the best I have ever experienced.

Glasgow Times:

If you do want to venture out you are just a short walk to the city centre where you will find an array of high street, independent boutiques, designer stores and pubs and eateries at every turn.

The Blythswood Square Hotel is an ideal place to stay if you are looking for something luxurious and extra special. The restaurant is reasonably priced to visit for lunch and dinner and they offer fantastic spa/lunch packages.
