In 2018, the UK launched more vegan products than any nation and the number of vegans quadrupled between 2014 and 2018, according to sources. The beauty market has joined in on the trend with the launch of various vegan-inspired products.
Elemis products are all cruelty free, and they have launched their vegan friendly Superfood Vital Veggie Mask, that nourishes, smoothes and brightens, for softer, more radiant skin. With kale and broccoli as part of the ingredients, I wasn't sure how it was going to smell, but it was surprisingly pleasant. It also features vitamin C and passionfruit acids which aim to gently slough away dead skin cells, while Omega-rich avocado and chia seed oils help support the skin's moisture barrier.
You apply the mask on cleansed skin and leave for 10 minutes. You might feel a slight tingling as it does its magic, then you wash off with warm water. My skin felt so smooth afterwards and looked lot healthier and brighter. It is recommended you do this twice a week.
Elemis Superfood Vital Veggie Mask, costs £30 for 75ml.
